Austex Fence & Deck warrants in accordance with the applicable provisions and terms set forth in the Austex Fence Proposal, limited materials and all workmanship incorporated in the project against any and all defects due to faulty materials or workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of installation.
This warranty does not cover willful or malicious damage, Acts of God, or other loss beyond the control of the Sub-Contractor. Standard Double Drive gates installed with wood posts and wood frame are not warranted. Walk gates that exceed 42” installed with wood posts and wood frame are not warranted.

Drought Effects
Just as consistent watering is important for your foundation, it is important for the ground around the concrete of your fence posts. It is your responsibility to ensure that the moisture content of the soil around the fence is properly maintained to prevent soil movement and any negative effects from this movement. (Do not allow standing water around the fence posts as this will cause the posts to rot.)
If watering is neglected during times of drought, soil will dry out, shrink visibly, crack, and subside from the concrete post footings. These issues are caused by the lack of moisture and not from incorrect installation. These conditions will also cause the posts to become loose and lean, as well as cause your gate to not function properly. Please note that drought is an act of Mother Nature and, therefore, not covered under our warranty.
