Due to the nature of custom fence installation, we are not able to provide you with a time. Crews are responsible for multiple projects each day, each of which are custom jobs, making it difficult to judge timing.
Our crews work dawn to dusk, so do not be alarmed if you do not see them first thing in the morning.
A typical installation is 2-3 days.
No, as long as we have access to the yard (no locked gates and no pets in the yard).
We allow the posts to set in the concrete 24 hours. Please do not touch the posts during this time period. The following day, the nail crew will build the new fence and complete the project.
You will receive an invoice in the mail for the remaining balance. Please do not pay the crews.
We offer an optional Sprinkler Damage Protection Plan (SDPP) for $125. Upon notification of damage, Austex will arrange to have the damage repaired by a reputable contractor who will then contact you to schedule a time for the repair. Austex must comply with the sprinkler contractor’s scheduling and availability.
Austex will not reimburse contractor expenses arranged by another party, without previous written approval from Austex.
Due to the nature of buried lines and cables, it is possible for a line to be cut without the installer’s knowledge. We strongly recommend that you test your sprinkler system after installation is complete and report any damage to Austex immediately. Please contact the appropriate vendor if there is damage to your cable, phone line or residential water line. These utilities are not covered by the SDPP.
If the weather is inclement, we will most likely not be able to install your fence. In the event of cancellation, we will provide you with an updated start date as soon as possible.
The warranty one (1) year from the last day of installation.
Repair requests can be submitted online here or emailed to service@austexfence.com. Please include all contact information and photos
A few days prior to your installation, utility locators will mark the location of underground utilities, so we can avoid damaging a line during the installation. These line locates are mandatory by law.
The utility locators cannot, and will not, locate any proprietary lines including, but not limited to, water lines, sprinkler lines, pool lines, septic lines, or propane lines. The property owner is encouraged to mark these if they are aware of the location and Austex will make every reasonable effort to avoid damaging the lines. However, should any proprietary lines be damaged during the installation process, Austex is not responsible for the repairs (with the exception of sprinklers covered by the SDPP, mentioned above).
Please do not attempt to get rid of the markings made by locators until the fence installation is complete. The paint used by locators is biodegradable and will disappear over time.
